The factory side-repeaters use a miniature 5-watt single filament bulb to illuminate. Our side-repeaters use approximately 50 amber wide-angle high-intensity LEDs to illuminate the light assembly. Each unit has an LED array which spans from edge-to-edge and consumes less than 1-watt. As shown above, the side-repeaters look clear when off.
